CalTrain power number 910 on it's way south to San Jose Saturday 9/29/2007. The father and son walking the platform had just left the South Bay Historical Railroad Society museum inside the Santa Clara station. They were galloping to the head of the train to get a shot from where I was standing before she pulled out of the station.

It's Friday night. The Jewish Sabbath. First night of Succoth, the holiday of huts. I found that this image is very appropriate for this evening. Maybe it will no longer be appropriate tomorrow night. But it is an image that perfectly describes how I am feeling at this very moment. Relaxed, soft, smooth and comfortable. Yes, and maybe just a little naughty.

I like to photograph Caitlin as she is preparing. Jumping around her like a butterfly during her prep makes her a bit uneasy and therefore helps to relax her afterwords for the shoot. It can be quite intimidating having a camera in your face all the time. Capturing your every move and facial expressions. Caitlin had no problem with it. She was intent on getting the make up absolutely perfect.

Sitting idle on tracks 6, 7 and 8 in San Jose are CalTrain number 921 and 909 with Amtrak 2010 wait for the afternoon commute.

Number 923 on the point of the southbound 332 express from San Francisco. She sits idle at San Jose Diridon station until the northbound afternoon commute will require her services for another express back to San Francisco.

Amtrak Capitol Corridor led by CDTX 2010 and CalTrain JPBX 909 on stand-by for the afternoon commute at San Jose Diridon station.

Westbound Capitol Corridor pulled by engine 2010 on it's way to it's next stop at the Santa Clara-Great America station and on to it's final destination in San Jose, CA. It's travelling across the Alviso Slough in this picture. The bridge is the demarkation point between the end of the Guadalupe river and the beginning of the Alviso Slough.
